Mr. Akhavan serves as the firm’s consultant in complex residential and commercial real estate brokerage cases. Mr. Akhavan is a licensed realtor in DC, VA and MD, the Vice President of Realty ONE Group Capital, and a DC-Area native for over 22 years who offers a unique insight into the Washington, DC-area real estate marketplace.

Mr. Akhavan has previously testified as an expert in Virginia state courts, and is certified as a Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and an International Property Specialist. With an MBA and high-level international experience in finance, marketing and internet communications, Mr. Akhavan has substantial experience representing high-net worth individuals in the luxury real estate market. As such, Mr. Akhavan’s knowledge and expertise in this area enables the firm to provide its investor-clientele with not only cutting-edge insight into the market but also superior legal services.

Prior to Real Estate, John worked in Finance and Private Banking in London, Geneva and Monaco. John earned his MBA from American University in Washington DC and his Bachelors of Science degree from Georgetown University. John has lived in Paris, London and currently resides in Washington DC. John serves as Vice President of ONE Luxe DC, a Division of Realty ONE Group Capital.
