Stella Villalobos is an associate in the firms real estate practice group whose practice focuses on residential and commercial leasing and landlord tenant law, creditor collections, warrants in debts and unlawful detainers, and estate planning matters (wills and trusts). Furthermore, Ms. Villalobos also assists with representing clients in complex commercial disputes, including toxic mold, mechanics liens, NVAR purchase and sale contract disputes, Community Association (HOA/Condo) matters, and business partnership disputes.
Ms. Villalobos has successfully represented numerous landlords and tenants across Northern Virginia in Warrants in Debts, Unlawful Detainers, Tenants Assertions, Debtors Interrogatories and Garnishment proceedings. Furthermore, Ms. Villalobos has utilized her in-depth understanding of Virginia’s complex landlord-tenant and mold laws to successfully settle several high value matters. Ms. Villalobos frequently blogs on a range of different issues surrounding Virginia’s landlord-tenant and mold laws, interpretation and changes to the Virginia Landlord and Tenant Act (“VRLTA”), and the new COVID-19 rules (both state and federal) affecting Unlawful Detainer proceedings for residential landlords and tenants.
