Lelena Mulugeta
Associate Attorney
Lelena Mulugeta brings a diverse skill set to Fox & Moghul, where she contributes to the firm’s real estate and business law practice groups. Her work spans both litigation and transactional cases, including drafting agreements, advising on business structures, and managing legal disputes.
Previously, Lelena gained hands-on experience at a boutique law firm, where she played a crucial role in resolving contract and construction disputes, reviewing legal documents, and supporting litigation efforts. She also advised startups through the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, guiding a FinTech company on compliance, drafting essential legal documents, and developing strategies to navigate legal challenges.
Lelena has actively demonstrated her legal acumen through competitions with the Transactional Law Society and has developed a strong foundation in corporate, commercial, and contract law during her time at American University’s Washington College of Law.
